This is the knife I have been talking about all year, the Ti Backpacker!

The Backpacking, Camping, Fishing, Hunting, Boating, Diving, Survival, Back Country, Mountain Climbing, Every Day Carry Knife and more!

It weighs almost nothing and will never rust. The 72 Rockwell hardness carbidized edge is self sharpening on some materials.

Keep one in the car for emergencies
Leave one stashed in your pack because you'll never notice the weight
Have one on you, carry a fixed blade that weighs as much as pocket change

These are stonewashed for a tough finish!

Weight - 18 grams! Just over half an ounce...

Length - 6"
Blade length - just under 2.5" or about 6cm

6al4v Titanium with 72 RC Tungsten Carbide Edge

Chisel Grind with opposite microbevel - this is about the easiest grind there is to sharpen and makes the knife versatile too, you can use it right or left handed.

They come with a kydex sheath with removable hardware for ease of cleaning. The sheath is multi position teklok compatible and made from super slim .060" Kydex.

$125 Shipped Please say I'll take it here to buy. I prefer paypal for payment and my paypal address is danielfairlyknives@gmail.com Please use your current paypal address for shipping. International shipping is extra.

Just let me know if you have any questions! I back all of my work.

You can wrap them with paracord! It makes for a really light and comfortable handle plus it's fun to have any color knife you want.

The wrap is really easy to do. I'll do a tutorial on it, you just wrap, cross the cords, wrap then repeat.

These will make perfect salt-water knives!

Can I buy more than one? If so, I'll take two - if not at least one :)

Thanks!

Hi Daniel, the knives look awesome! I've never had a Ti bladed knife before but I heard the term self sharpening regarding them. Would you mind explaining what it means that it is self sharpening on some materials? Thanks

Great question!

The way the Ti blade self sharpens is that the softer Ti will wear faster that the carbide edge, this exposes fresh carbide which does the cutting.

I have experimented with this and it works the best on cardboard, it is abrasive so as soon as the knife seems to be getting dull it will pick back up and start cutting more.

Carbidized Ti is an aggressive cutter for softer materials, it is just scary how it cuts meat and is great on rope and more. It will plow through veggies, open boxes all day long, all that stuff. The only thing I don't like Ti for is wood carving, for that steel is better. You can saw wood with one and they do carve great.

Daniel, PP sent for two of these - thanks!

Got it, thanks again! I hope you really enjoy them!

I lived on a boat for a while and I think these will be great around the salt water or even as a full on dive knife. It is kind of cool knowing the Titanium just can't rust.

I'm thinking it will be perfect on a neck lanyard tucked into my waders ;)

Since my wife loves to fish as much as me I had to get her one too... plus it helps justifying
