Hello Everyone,

I am a regular over at Candlepowerforums

I have just completed these Titanium Capsules, and wanted to offer them to you also.

They have a unique cap design, stand up well, and have a large capacity for their size. Of course, they are waterproof also.

Originally designed around the common flashlight batteries, 16340 (cr123) and 18650.

Rolled cash fits nicely into the 18650 capsules also.

I can offer a 14mm compass attached to the inside of the cap if you like.

Standard configuration includes silicone foam rubber insulation pads to keep you batteries safe and snug inside.

Here is the thread I have running over at CPF
http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=217101

You can see the list of available finishes, and tritium slots over there.

Are the above prices with or without tritium?

Those prices are without tritium.

I do not have time to set the tritium perfectly for you guys, sorry.

happy to answer any questions anyone might have.

What is involved in the tritium install?

Typically, the tritium is placed in the slot, and clear epoxy is used to encase it.

Some folks prefer to use an optically clear product made by Norland.

A syringe will be needed to do a perfect job.

Great, first they got me addicted to knives, then they hooked me on flashlights, now I'm shooting up tritium......Lol!

On the cr123 container, how does it keep the batteries separated?

Thanks.

The short capsule can hold 1 cr123 cell. The foam at the ends keeps it insulated from the Ti, and held in place to prevent rattling.

The long capsule can hold 2 cr123 cells. It has the same foam, with the same functions.
It is not a problem to have the 2 cells touching each other if the circuit is not completed. (The foam insulation does not allow the circuit to be completed)

More than likely not as this is a 3 year old thread. Following the link in the OP to CPFMP it looks like there were some polished 16340 capsules with trit slots that were not claimed...but that thread is also 3 years old. It could be they were long sold and just never marked. Best thing to do is send Tom (Moddoo) a Visitor Message here or PM over at CPF.
