Im looking to cut titanium handles for a friction folder. Since ti cost soo much I would like to ask before I start cutting. Hacksaw or metal blade on wood band saw? Or if you have another cheap way to cut it let me know. Thank you

Hacksaw with bimetal blade
Yes

metal blade on wood band saw
No

Bi-Metal blade on metal bandsaw
Yes

Friction cutting, metal blade backward on wood bandsaw. Never done it, but told it works well. I've always found that cutting the titanium is more expensive than the material itself.

Done it with the blade running forward but it was dull. Worked great after stripping the teeth off 2 other blades trying to cut it at recommended speeds. Cut both CP and 6al4

I've done friction cutting too, with a fine tooth dull metal blade running forward on a wood bandsaw. You gotta bear into it but once you get going it burns right through. Don't expect to cut curves though. As Chuck says it's a good way to get your money out of a worn out blade.
