Ive been looking, and looking, and looking at getting a titanium frame lock and cant decide which if any to get. I love the Sebenza, I know its the standard by which others are judged, but I cant afford that right now. So what others are out there under $200? Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Maybe get Kershaw Junkyard Dog II Ti/SG2 Factory Second while you can.

Other than that, if you want Sebenza look, check out Bradley Alias. It is as close as it gets.

There are many other knives that you can choose from.
Buck/Mayo TNT
Buck/Mayo Waimea (if you want something small and gentlemanly)
Spyderco Sage II
and others

I'm sure you'll get more suggestions. There are plenty of choices for Ti Framelock under $200. Handle a few if you can, maybe watch couple of videos on youtube and choose what YOU want.

I'm not sure if regular members can search, but I know Gold members can. You might want to check that feature out 1st, as this is a topic that's done often.

W/O getting into pros/cons &/or comparisons, the ones that immediately come to mind are:

Bradley Alias: You should be able to get the small one within your budget. I'm not sure the lg. is or not.

Spyderco Sage II

Buck/Mayo TNT: These are discontinued, but you should still be able to pick one up for under your target budget.

BM 630/635 Skirmish: These are discontinued, too & I'm honestly not sure if you'll find one under $200. The mini (635) can probably be found within your budget, but not sure about the lg (630).

There're others, including some new ones by Kershaw.

Good luck.

but I cant afford that right now.

Can you afford NOT to have a Sebenza?

Sorry; it had to be said...:D

I was impressed by a friend's Sage II. I'm anxiously waiting for the M4 Ti/G10 RIL Military; that might be another of your options (secondary market, though).

I know! The Sebenza is VERY nice. I already have a Military, looking for something different. The Bradley and the Buck TNT have been on the very short list, but the Buck I know is discontinued and I thought the Bradley was as well?. Are the ZT0300 nice knives? Ive also looked at Three Sisters Forge, and the M1. The Kershaw Junkyard does nothing for me though.

It may not do anything for you just by looking at it, but for around $75 from kershawguy it is one of the finest deals on a Ti framelock you can find. If you are just starting to delve into Ti framelocks, I would start with this one. The blade shape and steel is great for EDC and the handle is one of the most comfortable I've ever had in my hand. You can always drill and tap the handle for a different clip as the clip isn't really a big hit for most.

I don't really like the shape of the JYD either, but I must say they are very well made, especially at this price point. The ZT: Can't really speak about them as I handled a 0300 only once. I rarely heard a complaint about the ZT.

How about some more info...

Tip up or down?

Big hole thingie, thumbstud, flipper, AO?

Blade steel preference?

Utility work? Office carry? Outdoors? Dispatching pesky zombies?

Size?

Lots of options my friend!

you might want to look at preordering the ESEE DPx gear HEST folder. it goes for about 175.

I know, lots! Can go either way with the tip, Holes or stud, high end steel, outdoor/EDC, size...?....Combative edge is To BIG. So something alot smaller than that. $75 does make the Junkyard more interesting, where would I look for that? I did think about the new Esee offering and also the new ZT Hinder Offering as well. Any idea on the price point for the new ZT Hinder knife?

If the Kershaw JYD doesn't do anything for you don't get it. I don't like it either but got one to try. It had a problem and I had to send it back but it still did nothing for me after holding it so I got a refund instead of an exchange.

Have you seen the Benchmade Subrosa? I haven't got to hold one yet but it looks nice. As mentioned the Sage 2 is nice. The Kershaw Volt is pretty great if you can find one but might be more than your limit since the street price was right around 200.

If you want large, throw out the spidies mentioned, they are mid-sized at best.

I would look at a Kershaw Speedform (hurry, they are going quick).

Elmax is primo by all accounts.
