Titanium knife and fork

I had nothing to do.. I used a hacksaw, a torch and a very large beltgrinder (it has no usable contactwheels so i had to improvise ) Tried some heat colouring today, at the second attempt I was satisfied. I just can´t seem to capture the purple in them, but still. Yes the superduper ergonomic fork is a bit crude, but I´m only going to use it for eating so it really doesnt matter.

First I tried getting only a single colour over the enire knife and fork, but that was very hard, way out my league, I also tried getting green colour, but that seems even harder. Seems to me like everything except bronze/gold, blue and purple needs an oven, or something similar with tempcontrol.

How does green Ti look? How "green" is it really? When i go past blue/purple it only goes light grey, not very pretty, however sometimes I see a light blue very nice colour, but i cant seem to just heat enough for it to stay.
