Titanium knifes and scuba knifes

There's no reason a dive knife needs to be titanium. H1, Magnacut, etc are just fine.

The familiar mass-produced titanium dive knives that have been around for a long time are low quality blades, and really are more of a prybar.

I think hardened titanium alloy knives are best when thin and fine, but they're not too easy to make.

I've logged many, many hours under water, do you know how many times I actually used a dive knife? Go ahead, best guess.

I have logged a few hours in the water as a Commercial Diver and sport diver (altogether about 13,000 hours in the water) as well and have used my knife / knives quite a few times. Never as a weapon but I have cut a lot of fishing line, fishing nets, rope, wire, plant life, shell fish, regular fish, etc. A sport diver vs a military diver vs a working commercial diver are very different types of diving and use tools and equipment very differently. I worked offshore oil work, underwater construction and a short stint as the Chief Diving Officer / Lead Diver on a submarine in Hawaii for 6 six years. Here are some of my diving knives / tools.
