Sorry brother…Wish you hadn‘t asked that question ‘cause now I’m just going to have to try to ignore that (very small, unimportant, infinitesimal) inconsistency.
But the answer is yes, both of mine are like that.

I really need to learn to keep my issues to myself!I never noticed it on either of mine and now I have something new to obsess over when I get home. Great, just great.

What exactly are you guys talking about? Is the tip close to exposed when closed? Pics? I'm curious, and never had one in hand.I never noticed it on either of mine and now I have something new to obsess over when I get home. Great, just great.

On both the 3.25 I tried, the tip was JUST shy of proud. I could snag a finger on it with just a bit of pressure applied. I returned them both and moved on. For most I would guess it isn’t a problem. For me however, coming from 40 years of traditional knife carry, its a big no thank you. Was my biggest pet peeve when buying and selling old knives. What exactly are you guys talking about? I just tried on my 3.25 and no matter how hard I tried I was a few mm away from being able to snag the tip when closed. I wonder if they changed something. On both the 3.25 I tried, the tip was JUST shy of proud. I could snag a finger on it with just a bit of pressure applied. I returned them both and moved on. That’s good news. I hope they did make a change. It was honestly the only nit I could pick with the two I tried. I actually just two weeks ago almost bought the damascus version but talked myself out of the disappointment.I just tried on my 3.25 and no matter how hard I tried I was a few mm away from being able to snag the tip when closed. Honestly I didn’t even check mine but I have had other framelock folders where I could *just* feel the tip or even the edge of the blade when running the fleshy part of my thumb/finger along the handles. What exactly are you guys talking about?
