I wanted one for quite a while after seeing lzeplin lzeplin 's here on BF before finding mine on the Exchange. I have no idea how many of these were made but they're out there. Maybe a thread in WTB could find you one. The Rexford 0801 is my favorite ZT--this and my pimped-out version are two of the of the four ZT's I've hung onto after trying out several others over the years.

They were quite popular a few (5?) years ago. I had all 4 regular versions at one point (0801, 0801ti, BW, BLK). Ended up giving away a regular version to a good friend years ago, I lost an 0801BW, traded one to my dad, ended up trading back, and bought a couple “used” to replace them…
So I’m back at one of each, except for the ti, which I have two….
I REALLY wish I had bought an 0801BRZ when they came out. It was right around the same time as the 0452G10 (early 2017) and I remember cheaping out and only getting the 452. Those bronze M390 versions are the best looking of all of them IMO🤬

All in all one of my absolute favorite EDC knives, and maybe my most carried knife of all time. Really just a classy, yet hard use, perfect size edc knife.
 
As long as we're on this 0801 thing, I went back and found pics of my other, pimped Rexford. I bought this as is, save for the tail, on the Exchange. I love it, but it's become a drawer queen as it scratches up way too easily. Last time it really got carried, and ever-so-lightly, I spent an entire evening re-sanding the handle flats, dis- and re-assembling to do so. I get it out from time to time to fondle, flip, and admire. The blackwash one, though, is a great user and gets a regular turn in the rotation. I've got it out now, and will probably make it today's carry, should I actually get motivated and do something today.

I really like the way the blade flats have been sanded to eliminate the typical ZT/Kai billboard effect with only the serial # showing on the stonewashed blade grind. Despite its lack of actual carry, this is definitely one of my Ti/Ti favorites.

I have a 0801bw as well….sold the one I had about 2 years ago and then realized I shouldn’t have done that and bought another. I have 3 0801s now….I prob should have made it more clear but I was referencing a blackwashed 0801ti model. ZT had a few prototypes made and then sold them off at the yearly factory seconds sale in Oregon a few years ago with the xxx on the blade. Looked great. Too bad they never made it a production run…

I did think about that when I was posting. The naming for the various models is a bit odd, as all those ZT Rexford handle slabs are Ti AFAIK, but only the later model in your last pic is distinguished as an 0801ti. I like that model too and would probably grab one if it showed up on the Exchange for a decent price.
 
I love all the 801 pics. It is probably my favorite ZT also.

ETA: I just noticed what looks like a crack in the scale of the bronze one near the pivot. Panicked and had to go put it under the magnifier lamp. It was just a strange effect of the lighting when I took the pic. No crack... :)

I carried a different Ti/Ti knife than this today, one that's unique to my accumulation, but I'll save that for another day. Digging back through my files I bumped into some recent pics of my Southard Performance Series Tolk and figured I'd post 'em here.
