I saw that one get posted in the marketplace the day after the one I got was posted there. I actually liked yours better. The color seemed to be a deeper looking ano. VERY nice by the way!!

I've been wanting a Quantum for quite some time. I like it... but It seems like I have to take conscious effort to keep my fingers off the lockbar to avoid putting any pressure on it other wise it hesitates in opening the blade. I am not as blown away as I had hoped.

However, I did just score a grail for myself matching MEFP Koenig Arius full size and mini. That should keep the smile machine going for a while!

Nice! I like the Gen2 so much, had to try the 1. Naw, that was just the pic. Bet the ano is the same.

I've had that lockbar issue with one other Shiro but not either Quantum. Ive had it improve with time on other knives. Or I just get used to holding and becomes automatic. It's a bit of of a pet peeve for me.

Another odd thing I noticed about the Shiro. Actually all the Shiros that I have, The lockbar just barely engages the blade in the locked open position. I have a very modest Shiro lineup, but they all do it. I first noticed it when I bought a Q95 with blue micarta. It alarmed me as I had not ever noticed this. But I contacted the retail seller and they said to send pics. They looked and pretty much said all Shiros are like that. So I checked my others and they surely all do look just like that (+ / - a little). Here's a pic of the Q95:

Yes Sir. All of mine lock very similarly. If you look deep, its probably deep towards the back of the face.
