Titanium slip joint - Carry for New York City

I have landed an interview in NYC and realized that my Umnumzaan and Military just won't cut it if I have to EDC in the city.

I'm looking for a small 4" slip joint in a similar style to the scales on my Umnum. Textured grooves, etc. Something small and pocketable but still up to some of the larger cutting tasks.

Any recommendations?

I don't think there is a slippy that has similar texture to an Umnum.

Considered the Spyderco Bob Terzuola slip joint? s30v, 3 inch blade.

I have, and I like it, but I'm looking for something with a bit more "feel" do it like all the other CRK knives I've handled.

Maybe a Mnandi. :)

Though I was looking for a slip joint style knife.

Basically bounce some ideas, what would you carry in New York City?

Bret Dowell has made some Ti slip joints...he could probably finish the handle any way you want it.

Any model in particular? :)

I feel like asking if CRK would be willing to do a titanium "inlay" in place of the wood. Though the snakewood looks very attractive.

They have entertained other, arguably wilder requests. I just question whether you can get the knife in time for your interview.

No, not in time for the interview, that would jinx the thing to high heaven.

After the interview, if I get the job. ;)

Doesn't AG Russell make a titanium scaled slipjoint? I'm not sure about the blade size.
