Has anyone come across a stainless steel alloy based on Titanium rather than carbon? If so what were its properties and how would it work in a knife?
Ti is not used in steel except in very small amounts. There are however titanium blades which can't be made all that hard and are best used in harsh environments like salt water.
Always in search of the ultimate truth, the perfect knife. Having searched the net I found nux. Ti is in the carbon family and I had hoped to find that it helped performance, even at a $$ cost. Thanks for your insight.
