This is my Vertigo model, made from 6AL4V titanium. The knife is extremely lightweight, making it a great carry blade.

The opposite side of the blade has a carbide edge. This greatly aids edge retention on titanium blades.

The handle is quite comfortable in any grip. The nylon wrap is tight and uniform; very well done. The wrap has been carefully impregnated with epoxy. The under wrap is genuine sting ray skin that has been dyed grey. The menuki is a highly detailed dragon.

The knife is hollow chisel ground for a right hand user. Extremely sharp!

- 6AL4V
- Carbide Edge
- 1/8 Stock
- Matte Finish
- Chisel hollow grind
- Razor Sharp
- 9" OAL, 4.5" Blade
- Extremely secure kydex sheath

SOLD! - Thanks! Shipped and insured with a tracking number in the CONUS. Overseas sales are OK, but the buyer will need to pay actual shipping costs. (Overseas shipping generally adds $10 or so.)

PayPal or money order preferred.

Oh man... someone buy this today! Johnathan.. I have that scalpel I need to pay you for so it can get finished.. BUT this knife is sweeeet.. Hopefully you have another one in the makes otherwise... I'm going to be broke for 3wks because I'll be buying this.. lol laskjgalfdjgag

Really nice John:thumbup:Just wondering how long does it take to do a wrapped handle like that?

Thanks!

Not including the time for the epoxy to dry, I can generally finish the handle in an hour or so once I have the sting ray skin cut and sized. Once you learn the wrapping method, it's not too bad. It does take a bit of practice to get everything crisp and even though. Keeping the menuki lined up can be difficult sometimes.

Thanks dude! (Working on your scalpel design yesterday BTW.)

Don't worry, I can always make you another one! ;)

Love what you're doing with Ti and Carbide these days JM.

And you know I love a Chisel grind!:D

Keep 'em coming brother!

Taylor

Thanks Taylor!

I'm starting to enjoy working with titanium. It's a bit difficult to grind though!
