Titanium vs Stainless Liners for a folder - Pro's and Cons

I'll take working with Titanium over most of the stainless steels any day.
Works like a champ.

Except grinding.

I don't like grinding it.
 
I think a lot of folks really like the look of exposed machinery on a knife.
It's all about "Visual Logic-" if you can SEE the mechanism, it's satisfying in a certain way, and looks stronger, not because it is but only because the components are bigger.

I often show my knives to sculptor friends, and it's taught me a lot about how the human brain and eye work.
One thing that always comes up is how the fasteners contribute to the look of a knife- for instance, on folder handle scales if you countersink the holes so deep that you can't easily see the screw heads, it just doesn't look right and you might as well fill them.
The right fasteners in the right place can really make a piece- Bruce Bump and Jerry Fisk come to mind right away!
