Kevin has done a new run of his scales for the BM Mini Grip in titanium with an awesome looking orange peel finish.

I've been waiting for another run of these for a while, so I thought I'd give a heads up if anyone else has been waiting!

Thanks for the info they look great.

Yikes, that is a bit spendy for a $85 knife. They do look nice but I'm agreeing with Jastab, I'll have to stick with the stock grips. I do have a set from Keyman on order to try on my Ritter but they aren't near the $$ as those Wilkins'.

I do appreciate the OP giving the forum a heads up. Very helpful bunch here I've found. :)

These Ti scales have always been in the $200 range. The exact price changes depending on the exchange rate. So if the dollar gains on the pound the price will be cheaper.

They are pricey but worth every penny. If you can afford it go for it.

Kevin does some incredible scales for the Griptilian series. I have a set of black medium texture G-10 scales for my 551 and they make the knife 1000 times better than stock IMHO.

I know that previous runs of the titanium grips have sold out pretty quickly, so I put in an order. I'll definitely post photos once they're in.

In the meantime, decisions: what to drop into these Ti scales? M4 or stonewashed Ritter…

I think the "orange peel" texture on the titanium would look pretty awesome with a stonewash blade.

They look good but $200 for tiny little scales on an $80 knife disturbs me slightly.

It's all relative. I just purchased a Surivive! GSO 4.1 in m390 for the price of these titanium scales, so in that regard, it does seem a little nuts.

However, the Mini Grip is one of my favorite folders, and the WilkinsGrips make a dramatically positive difference in the feel of the knife. I'm not really interested in a small Sebenza, but a titanium Mini Grip? Yes, please.

I purchased a set of these Ti scales for my M4 Mini-Ritter.
Fit and finish were awesome, absolutely no complaints there at all.
I figured this would be my (new) grail knife.
I was even going to have them anodized blue or green.
Unfortunately, they turned out to be just a little too heavy for my taste.
They do turn the mini into a Tank though!
YMMV

I ordered a set of these when I saw this thread. I should really stay off this site. haha

Anyway, I'm a sucker for titanium and as much as I love my Mini Grip I just can't get past the FRN handles. Every time I look at my collection and think "hmm what should I carry today" more often then not I'll grab my 707 or 940 before my Mini Grip. They're expensive yeah, but I have no problem spending op dollar on something I really like to carry. I've bought other expensive knives in the past than I had to sell because of annoying issues, like the Bradley Alias II.

I'll stick with my Alan Putnam aluminum scales. Light and durable. But thanks to OP for the heads up.

This set and the CPM-M4 would seriously trump my sebenzas IMHO.

Thanks for posting this up.
