I've yet to own a titanium handled knife, but I'm perpetually confused why more companies don't make thick slabbed titanium handled knives akin to CRK and Chavez.

For my taste CRK has the best surface finish as well.

A blind lovefest is where fads thrive. Titanium may be very good but I doubt it is the end of the story.

High carbon steel alloys are still stronger.

What would make them "superior" for the application?

How long does a fad last? CRK has been making titanium frames since 1991. I will agree that steel would be stronger to some degree, but titanium is noticeably lighter and more robust than aluminum. I couldn't imagine carrying a chunky monkey like a full size SHF if it were made out of steel.

For me, titanium is probably my favorite handle material for EDC and to look at, and my second favorite for hard use (next to G10). I like that titanium can be ridden hard and put up wet. Dings and scratches only add to the character. I only prefer G10 over if for outdoor use because G10 is less slick.

My favorite

Over the last 20 years we have seen our cutlery steels continue to advance, both in their chemical composition and in the method of heat treatment. Some have are also remarkably corrosion resistant, capable of long term salt water emergence with seemingly minimal damage. I have not seen the same level of progress with titanium and at some point steel will probably overtake it. weight would still be a real thing, but we have seen fixed blade tangs milled to reduce weight and improve balance, might not something similar be done with folders?

I don't know if any of this will happen. But if it does I hope our younger makers are leading the way rather than playing catch-up.

That doesn't answer the question. In what regard would it be superior in this application?

"Stronger" in what sense?....or for what purpose? What specifically are we talking about here?
