tito ortiz vs. ken shamrock

I got sympathy pains just watching that. I'm all for physical fitness but I'll stick with my present exercise routine, thank you very much.

It didn't look like the other guy was actually hitting him very hard (or at all) -- the recipient was recoiling out of synch with the hits. That's the problem with these things: it never looks real.

I bet you say that to all the ladies...

Thanks Teach , first laugh of the day . So far all I,ve dealt with is sour pusses . L:O:L

Did you see the special on your namesake . It was great stuff .

Thanks Tedwca . Thats it in a nutshell I guess . I have a great deal of respect for these fighters . Do you happen to know how old Ken is ?

Oh, dear. Ortiz didn't just defeat Shamrock, he beat him like a rented donkey. If it were anywhere but in the ring it would've been over in less than thirty seconds; the only thing that kept Shamrock on his feet that long (which wasn't long) was the fence. Once he had Ortiz in the guard he did nothing but eat elbows.

I don't care how good he looked getting up, had the ref not stopped it Ortiz would've hurt him. The ref made a good call on this one.

Don't feel bad for Ken. He racked up a pretty nice record during his time in the ring and I'll bet that he's not quite done in there yet. He may have lost this one but he won a lot of other ones.

Ortiz by G'n'P. Did I call it or what?
