Congrats to the winners, and thanks to Glenn (and Evan) for such generosity.
I'm already waiting to see Glenn's skills on a knife of mine, and that's why I held back from entering (it wasn't easy though... :p )
I'm amused to see I'm not the only one who uses RPG dice as random generators :D

That can be a problem when members don't allow email.
I've always allowed email and have never been spammed due to having done so.

oh my goodness I am terribly sorry for this. takes a while for me to get or figure out I have notifications. really have to work on these sites. hell im stuck in my house for a few days so might as well learn!

I got my knife yesterday and spent the evening with it in my pocket. Great little knife. I wanted to post a picture but I dont have a camera at this point. Was using my cell phone but that cell phone is no longer in my possession and I will get a camera soon.

Hi. I want to apologise for being in absentia from this thread till now. I had a lot going on, then the day after I received the knife I soundly mashed/broke my finger. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Now that the weekend is here I can take some time and 9 finger peck a bit out.

This knife is a beauty. Some may know from my posts that I use what I learn here to to get (too many) "value" knives to use and abuse at work or give to friends (and try to educate them). I have a few knives in the $75 dollar range and will only carry them on weekends or maybe even for "Sunday go to meetin'".

This knife from Glennbad is made from one of my favorite workhorses, a TL-29. But it's a silk purse from a sows ear.

When I received it, I spent the first night fondling and looking for flaws. I found no gaps, no blade play, no nuttin'. The F&F was a level or two higher than the better knives I own.

Women look at it and swoon. OK, OK, hyperbole, but this IS a sweet knife and the womenfolk think it's purty.

My challenge now is to remember that is was made from a knife that likes to work and carry it (but not at work). What pocket slip (prolly KSF) would fit a TL-29 best?

Thanks Glennbad. I like to play around and make stuff at work but I respect real craftmanship like this.
