Tl29 g a w

I was admiring a German Bull Dirtbuster Junior in deer stag when I won cchu's gaw, and I feared I was becoming an effete aesthete. I'm re-assured by the answers to my handle question, though it won't affect the luck of the draw.
Just don't call me an effete aesthete.

Yes please, always wanted a TL-29

Kris,.

P.S does the linerlock lock the blade or the screw driver?

I'm in and thank you for the opportunity. I'm getting one of the Steve's GEC TL29s and that will be my first of the pattern, but I still want to try a more classic TL29, and I've never had a Camillus knife so this would be sweet.

As far as sodbusters, delrin is pretty classic, as is wood. For some reason I feel a bit weird about stag on a sodbuster, although I'm not at all against it and I've seen some cool examples. Just feels off to me for a sodbuster. Micarta is a step up from delrin perhaps, but it's not some outlandish opulent material either, it would be more than suitable for a sodbuster. I'd be curious to see an all metal sodbuster. Would not be appropriate for one I feel, but I'm curious to see one anyways. Like a douk douk sodbuster lovechild.

I'd like a chance, please.

I'm all for fancy handles on the sodbuster...as long as the classic materials remain available. This working knife needs affordable options so that a good, tough, inexpensive knife can be easily purchased on a limited budget.

Thanks for an opportunity to get in on this great knife.

I personally enjoy classic, simple handles on a sodbuster but not opposed to fancier handle materials if that's what trips your trigger - just make sure it remains a simple hard working knife.

I'm in...don't have a TL, so I'd love it. Fancy Sodbuster is like MOP on an Opinel...OK if that's what you want, but kinda silly.

I'm in, I've been wanting to try a TL-29!

As far as fancy handles on a sodbuster- actually I think that is a great idea. I've had my eye on a case sodbuster jr but could never pull the trigger due to the plastic handles

I'm in. And thank you for the opportunity!
For working knives I strongly favor a simple clean look.

I'M IN! Thanks for the chance. I've never had a TL29, but I'd love
to give one a try. Always liked that blade profile.

As per the fancy handles on a Soddie, I see no problem with it.
The frame is what takes almost all of the strain and stress of
the knife, not the scales. So as long as you're a responsible user
and don't use it as a hammer or anything you get a very nice
looking knife, that's still a strong user. Kind of a "Best of both
worlds" situation IMO.

fancy wood on a soddie? sure!
as I don't have a Tl-29, I thank you for the chance!
