TM-DSF Thoughts / Comparison

I didn't realize it was that much bigger than a BJ. I like my BJ. One could say I'm a big fan of . . . nevermind. LOL

I could see how you guys would love this knife. Now that I know it's that much bigger than the BJ, I can calmly pass on it. Too long for me.
 
I was a little disappointed in the small fingerguard/talon at first, but it makes for a great grip when you choke up on the knife using the choil. I wouldn't dismiss this design too quickly. It's a pretty sweet knife.
 
I'm really impressed with mine. The handle works great, the length is sufficient for chopping, and I like the slim blade. This really is a fighter (stabber/chopper), although capable of utility. My one wish? A full flat grind, the geometry is a little thick.
 
I love my DSSF! Awesome knife! Very light for it's size - comparing to other Busses. And with great handle!

After spliting some wood my DSSF doesn't look as pretty as in the pic above anymore - but it gained character :thumbup:
