In my view, the choil has a place on blades 6" or longer because it is sometimes necessary to 'choke-up' on the knife.
Choil's in knives under 6" are just plain silly. It wastes about an inch of blade space. The SAR5, (the unplanned child) is a great design... except for the handle (which is easily fixed).
The old school (not so "tactical") strait handled BA3, ABA's, and SHSJ's fetch more money than most Busse's on the exchange.
Hmmmmm.... 
I think there is a lesson there on what your customers prefer...
Now, I don't mean to be curt... but I am in marketing and it seems obvious to me which knives are in greater demand.
Busse's rock! But in my opinion the designs get too 'radical' and 'technicool'... I say... back to the future for Busse! Bring back the old school...
More practical... Less Tactical... :thumbup:
