To Chris... Re: Umnumzaan

Yes, I like the Umnumzaan too. I probably have more than my fair share of them as well. :p

I love my Umnumzaan. I ended up selling my Hinderer XM-18 simply because the `zaan was carried and used much more.

I've handled / owned / used many, many knives over the years, and the Umnumzaan is in the top three all time favorites of mine.

The tolerances, the design, the functionality - it's all there.

^^^^ Yup... its got everything. If it were a chick it would be that hottie that works in construction. (yes, there is one where i work... finally mustered up the nerve to talk to her... :D)

Yesterday I ordered an Umnumzaan, which will be only my second CRK knife; my first was a large reg Sebenza in 2002. I finally decided I couldn't wait anymore. Now the anticipation...

Getting my first one from someone on here... Im very excited.
Been lusting after one for quite awhile.

Yeah tomorrow is the day that I start living and get my first CRK. Nutn got me interested about a year ago and my eyes are now wide open. Sebs are nice but nice is not who I am. Now the BOSS has character. I can chop apples for breakfast and skin moose for dinner. AKWILD

i've wanted a large sebenza, but i first got a small, and then an umnumzaan. Now that want of a large has dissipated. The only large sebenza i want is a regular profile now, the umnumzaan is perfect for the larger needs of a folder.

Its funny, it has become so automatic to have my umnumzaan on me, that even when I get those "where is my knife" moments.. I know its in my pocket. Its ALWAYS in my pocket, or beside me. Even if I dont remember putting it there.

I absolutely love mu Umnumzaan as well. Overall, its the best folder in the world IMHO. If you have never seen one, you should check one out. They bring folding knives to a whole new level.

Well my second boss is in the mail. This one I am holding on to. Since it is a 2011 pre-lbs post stamp blade I had to bring this thread up. ;)
