Hey all.
This post is to let every one know what has really bin going on with me over the last few months.
To start, when I vanished last summer it was basically an emotional breakdown, just could not take any more.
Those that know me know about the health problems my wife has and after 5 years I hit my limit.
So just as I was recovering from the breakdown I had a car wreck that totaled my mini van and I almost bought the farm.
Keeping up? It gets better.
A week after my accident my daughter was hit by a car as she road her bike.
She's OK just banged up and a minor concussion.
So just as things start to settle down my wife and I realize that it's time for a divorce and she moves 200 MI away and takes my daughter with her.
That was 3 weeks ago.
Now as of last Wednesday I was doing OK and looking to putting all of my time into knifemaking but on Thursday morning I found that all of my assets have been seized by the court.
But I'm still standing and anything short of getting shot in da head wont touch me.
So I'm back with a vengeance and not a dam thing is going to stop me.
I want to apologize to anyone that has an order with me for my lack of correspondence.
If you have an order please email me as my order book got destroyed when my shop got flooded (left that out).
Also if you want to order a knife be assured it will be done on time, and up to par.
Thanks for your time.

Geez, Hang in there. At least this way not much has to happen for it to be considered a good day

You've got the right idea, keep busy with something you enjoy doing and let life take its course. Theres a lot of things in life you can't control, and when they start to go wrong its not worth beating yourself up over it, it won't do any good.
Hope things get better in the very near future.

I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer... but I've got the sharpest knife in the room.

The old saying, "That which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger" can sound pretty trite in a situation like this, but I trust it will prove prophetic in your case, Edward. It's good to have you back.

I knew you were having a tough time, but had no idea that it was anywhere near THAT bad. I am amazed that you have managed to find the strength to cope, given the circumstances. I wish you the best of luck, and hope that your problems are resolved soon.

Take care, and let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Walt

Edward,

Just hang in there and don't try anything heroic at this point. Just walk on an even keel for a while until the shock of it all is over. It may feel that it'll take ages, but the release will come sooner than what it seems.

Your steadfastness in the midst of raging turmoil is admirable. Just keep on keeping on.

Knifeknuts are pretty understanding people on the whole, and some of us are even praying for you.

Take Care.

All I can say is I have been there with the divorce thing. It is always a tough way to go. The only advice i can give you is to BITE DOWN HARD AND HANG ON!!!!
It is tough but it all gets better with time.
Take care my friend and it all works out in the end .

Adversity doesn't define the man. How he handles it does.

Keep grinding, Ed.

Be strong Edward .... I know you are or you wouldn't be here right now! Just hang in there and prayers do help even though at times they don't seem to. All prayers are answered one way or another!

Glad you are back here Edward!
