To make a Break ...

Some old fellows turned their back to the Buck knife forum in silence.
Why? I don't know. I asked some of them, but tey couldn't give me a
satisfying answer. "The forum becomes stale, too stpid, no longer my
league, uninteresting topics", nothing tangible.

But now I am in the same situation. More and more I get annoyed about
some posts or threads. It is too much for me when there is a new Member
posting mor than 100 posts during his first five days.

You all know, I have to translate all the words I read and it is smply too much
to do to read all the words, sentences, paragraphs and to get to know that
there is no content in it ... may be a few ...

Well, a lot of words for a few content, I think I make a break.
Let's see, may be that I am reading what is interesting for me and have a look at
Armands greatest show on earth, and may be that the break is over at one time.
But now ...

Withdrawn ...

Why?

The reason disappeared ;)

Thank you for your patience.

Herbert…glad it has worked out like this. It wouldn't be the same here without your input, knife photos, wildlife (and Ranger) photos.:thumbup::thumbup:

Haebbie and all,

The forum is like a river, fish swim in and out of our current. Some stay, some stir up mud, some venture around a bend and return, some must go off someplace and get caught. Todays forum is not the forum of ten years ago and will not be todays forum in another 10 years. We must communicate to get along, say what we dislike and like with courtesy and tact. Moderators are no exception.

Some who have swam away have left a deep hole and are missed, Herbert if you swam away a big piece of the river would go with you also. Many of the Buck knife fish are glad you are part of our school.

I love fishing stories woven into knife threads! Welcome back as a regular Habbie (although we still got to enjoy your photo's and company on the Sunday Picture Show!) OH

Interesting post...
What I see most of all is the loss of historic data that some of the older long time posters had.. Some of the new info that gets posted is sometimes contrary to what we learned in the past.
I pop in and out some, but not frequent enough. Not that I am any fountain of information.

But it is sad to miss some of the past posters and would be a loss to the new collectors for anymore to leave.

No solutions here..

I guess I have grown old... older... ugh..
