this is a question and me sobbing...

i always see the best looking busses, or the busses that everyone knows about. but it seems the cool ones arn't being sold anymore besides the extange this makes me sad... i always wanted a ruck ( i was planing on it for a graduation present) but they dont make them anymore so they just gettting more and more expensive. i also herd that the BM's is discontinued also. this really gets me. one, if not the most famouse busse isn't being made anymore! i hope to god this is a myth. for me i guess i could get that just in time, but i am thinking of the hogs to come from years from now. when the ancester hogs speak of this great blade the all mighty BM. to them its an unreachable blade, that only the older fans have.

so i have a couple of questions...

is the BM family discontinued? i personally don't belive this...

and is jerry planing on bring some of the older modles back from the dead.

Whats a ruke??? I want one...

Every blade I currently want is not being produced or discontinued, The fun is hunting around for what you really want.... Or jus go through the custom shop!

The stickies are your friend: quoted from the "fact finding" stickie at the top of the opening page:

"The production schedule is slated at 1 or 2 models per offer period. Those models will ONLY be available during the time period that they are offered and will not be offered again for approx. 3 years. For example, the Force One and the Nuclear Air Rescue Knife (NARK) were offered during the month of August, 2004. They will not be available again for approximately 3 years or until August, 2007. Likewise, the options available the next time around may be very different from those available the first time. This approximate 36 month stretch between batch runs, should make reselling your Busses very easy during the interim."

Something tells me though that 3 years was a conservative guess. :p

Well, that is just part of the fun of being an INFI-holic. Yes, the Ruck Kensai was a one time offering from a 'Ganza, that's just the way it goes. OTOH, you can get a FBM LE from Skunk right now, and Jerry said that more FF FBM are heading out to Skunk, so watch that space. And if you are patient, you CAN get a CG FBM off the Exchange or eBay at a good price.

Sure, I wish I could get a 3/16 Satin Jack for original price, or an ABA; but I wasn't here back then. I WAS here for the Rucks and the SOWs and the Cultellus and some Wardens and .........:D

No Regrets!

Yup, what Dwayne said...er, um, typed...

Only the model on the website is the current offering.

Almost everything at the Company store is considered retired or discontinued.

Read the stickies, they will help, or at least start to, explain how the Wonderful World of INFI works...

Ask your parents if they will go ahead and buy you the FBMLE(it will never be back) for graduation.

Tell them to hold it untill then and only give it to you if you stay out of trouble and make decent grades.
It might work:confused:

And tell them I'll buy it back if you don't hold your end of the bargin...at what they paid... they can't loose:p

4 or 5 years wouldn't surprise me for a full line change over given the current release schedule.

the cool part of that though, is that you get a TON of models that would have never been released if we were still on the old "8 models at a time" production schedule.

and by the time it makes a full turn around, you may see a different iteration of the model, such as bme vs. fbm vs. neobm (or whatever the newer version will be). and you never know, a different edition of a model you want may be available in limited quantities through the company store, like the ffbm's. it keeps you guessing, and keeps you checking the forums because you never know when something will be released or what it will be. helps to keep you connected to the community :). I spent 3 years watching the forums for when the fbm was going to be released, and during that time I got to see all kinds of cool blades pass through.

HA! iteration IS a word!! I totally thought I was gonna spell it wrong, and then I thought it wasn't even a word...

A big part of the fun is picking a target and striving to get it. Pick up current releases as they arrive and try to score older stuff when you can!

Busse has a long standing policy not to reproduce the old line except in custom versions. When the FBM is gone it will eventually be replaced with another more modern BM with a different handle style. The great part about this is that there are people that like the originals best, some that like the Ehandles best and others that like the fussions best. So when the next line comes out it may be better than all others......to some

better pick up a fbm while you can! i just checked the exchange and all the fbm's (cg +ff) are going like hotcakes ever since noss's videos came out! scoring the blade you want is half the fun! snooze you lose. chears all!

I got a question, are the two offered now on the site is all thats available from the company? if so when do more styles come out? the HR is not appealing to me at all, and the ash although i like the style, it's just to thick.

shigawire4sure-every once in a while, skunk will drop hints about whats up for grabs @ the company store. when you see him post, just check to see if anything new is there. bloodgrooves-i'd pick up a fbmle while you can! it has a flat grind and is satin! cool scales too! the fbmse and ffbm and some customs are saber.

BTW, I am not just being an arse to dduangrat as I know him and he drools on my Busse's every change he gets... March 7th baby!! I may just bring 'em all!!

Glad yer here bro!!

Well there is a ASH-LE at .22

At the Company store there are a few knives none of which are the HR. There are the FBM, ASH, SS, and GW right now. Look at the last page under "Order Here" at http://www.bussecompanystore.com/
