micarta is outside project budget, as well as spa trip, though its still going to get refinished.

Well I'm happy to report Stanley has come through, they are sending me some new screws, more to follow when I receive them but Stanley customer service is above and beyond so far.
Also I have found someone to do the finishing work at a fair price to boot. They will be bead blasting it (glass beads I believe) then they will apply parkerization, followed by matte black duracoat.
Here are the handles, pretty much done with handles, just wanted grip and no reflection.

thanks, i removed the reflective stickers and stuck them to the back of some skateboard tape and then just followed it, though it was still time consuming.
