to modify or not to modify--*update* with pics--

I think so too, Antdog. Yeah Resinguy, I'm a little worried about that--on the phone, Lexi mentioned in passing that it would be possible, but then in an email she seemed less sure. Fingers crossed.

saw two at the last creek that were ground like ka-bars with the clip point and deep blood grooves. Looked good

So--Update time...

Lexi, Garth, and the Busse crew ROCK! My TGLB has been modified and will be headed back to me very soon. Knowing that I was due to hit the road, they pushed the work through... despite the madness of pre-Blade preparation!

Thanks so much--you all are the best.

In other news, I have a custom shop variant of a Game Warden coming to me (purchased off that auction site)... now for a sheath! I'm thinking a black leather belt sheath, hanging low off the belt. Any thoughts? Inquiries in to Skystorm already; any alternative recommendations welcomed.

It's already pretty wild looking--it's got a choil, and the first third (or so) of the spine has been ground into a swedge. The handle is grey & black g-10 and it has a black coating... which I will most likely strip. I like my infi naked. The choil doe take away from the cutting edge, but I use traditionals with the same amount of edge all the time. I forsee it being a killer everyday user for just about any task typically relegated to a folder.

OK--so here is the new one off eBay; it looks and feels right--does it look authentic to you good folks?

Thanks Dog! It's a mean little bugger. Looking forward to getting it dirty

Thanks man--I put it to use today, feathersticks, kindling, and a little fire pit bbq with my little boy. Just some hotdogs, but he had a blast, and the Game Warden performed very, very well. It's got a serious hollow ground and so quite good at slicing.

So, all paid up and waiting to get the e-mail that my modified TGLB is headed back to me. In the mean time, I picked up that Game Warden (pics above)... and I've put it to use, everywhere... kitchen, BBQ, fire pit, yard, etc... it handled everything, including being pounded through some branches to make kindling... but, of course it would!

Here are a couple of pics for the fun of it:
