In starting out I found many Grizzly products to be mostly far values for beginners. As I have progressed, I have changed some of my stuff. I wanted some flexibility and as I had a Baldor 3ph motor sitting around I put a Hitachi VFD on it and looked for a mandrel to make my own extra buffer. The "Shop Fox" from Grizzly seemed perfect. They have a manufacturing problem. After 3 of them in which I sent videos, that was it. Whoever is making these for them has a set up problem. I know this because I spent 40 years in the commercial printing industry including machine tear down, spec evaluation and manufacturing process in Italy. Save yourself trouble and buy a 1750 RPM motor and a mandrel and make your own. You will need some blocks to mount the mandrel to to get the height you need for the buffing wheel diameter.

Couldn't upload video. We are talking .050"ish TIR and threads cut at the wrong angle. (Makes wonderful oscillating buffer!) Oh, don't forget the walking pulley.
