To owners of the Kabar USMC Fighting knife

Can you give me the wide of the blade of your full size Kabar USMC knife?

I want to make my first knife but I don't have the skills or material to make a decent knife sheath. I plan to buy a leather USMC sheath to fit my knife into but first I need to know the width of the knife from spine to cutting edge.

I don't believe this should be in the knife maker's forum because I'm asking about a mass produced knife.

Based on my measurements in the shop it is 1 3/16 from spine to cutting edge. Good luck!
 
Thanks Whitty. Is that at its widest? It seems that I have some trimming to do; if that's the case. I have my width at 1 3/4".
