To Ratmandu or not to Ratmandu, That is MY question

Since I have been on this forum, I have been spending alot of money on knives and knife accessories (Thanks everyone :D). Now, I have found another piece of eye candy that I would like some opinions on.

I have been considering falling for Swamp Rat Ratmandu for a while now. From what I have read so far, many people are very happy with their RMD's and, feeling left out of course, I want to experience what this blade has to offer.

So is the RMD worth it to those who own one? Would it be suitable as a general use knife in my wooded area? And since no sheath is included, what have you done for a sheathing option? Custom? Find one on the internet that fits it?

Opinions? Comments? Angry rants? Haha, I have one and you don't taunting? :p
Anything is appreciated and welcome, thanks for putting up with my questions and posts guys

-Cheers

No question about it....get one! I don't think I've heard anyone say they were disappointed.

Get one while you can. Its by far my favorite knife of all time. Great for general woods stuff, bushcraft, hunting you name it. As for a sheath are you looking for kydex or leather?

I am looking for leather over kydex honestly. I really, REALLY want a sheath that I can feel comfortable and reassured the knife will not go anywhere at all. When I am outdoors, I really tromp around. Not Bear Grylls crazy, but I have my fun :p
I've seen some cool looking nylon sheaths people have gotten for their Bk2's but hey, I'm open to suggestions.

Do the Du. Heh, sorry, that was ultra lame, but I had to.

Really though, the RMD is by far my favorite knife. Well, maybe I like my H.I. Bonecutter just as much.

Buy one use it if you don`t like it clean and oil it wait a month and sell it for what you paid.

Hahaha "do the du". I wish the thread title was Ratmandu or Ratmandon't... Hahahahahahah

I hear nothing but good things about them. If I had some extra income, I'd get one.
