To Sheath or not to Sheath- that is the ?

From the point of view of a customer [i.e., moi], I like to have a sheath with the knife I buy. A great handmade leather sheath made by the maker himself is certainly a plus, but I wouldn't be dissapointed if the sheath were a Graley or a Rowe or one of Eric's, for example. Their work is excellent and can be a big plus for those who know. I think, from my point of view, that it is more attractive and convenient if the maker can arrange for a quality sheath made by a third party, rather than leave it to me to get it done. Some customers either don't know good sheathmakers or don't have the time or patience to have their knife sent to the sheathmaker to be fitted for a sheath after they buy it.
