Ok , i just put one of my deer antlers on and it was short of reaching the guard.
what do you guys use for a fancy filler?

You can use most anything V!
Fowler uses antler and wood on lots of his knives.

I like to use wood as a spacer.

If it is a narrow gap you might try this. Mix up some epoxy and color to suit. then fill and sand smooth. I have used JB Weld and mixed in sifted brass chips from my mill and then sanded and polished. leaves little brass spots and etc on the surface.

What kind of tang are you doing?You could also stack leather between the guard and antler if its a stick tang

the hidden tang , is about 1/2 " from touching and at the angle i drilled it if i try to drill any more , it will come out the side or the antler .

Show us a photo. You could fit it up with wood, then cover the wood with a ferrule.

Why Dont You File Out A Fitting To Go Between The Gaurd & Antler?
Maybe Some 416ss Or Ns. Or You Could Use Some Maroon Micarta With Some Sheet Ns Or Brass Spacers.....etc
