To slip, or not to slip

I am a big fan of using pocket slips. It depends on the handle scale material. If we are talking a standard Sebenza without any inlays then it is just dropped into my pocket. If it is something with a nicer handle material then it gets put into a slipcase.

I got a buckaroo sheath from Horsewright aka Dave Ferry that I gave to try on my 112. It attaches to a lanyard you rap around your belt loop, pull the lanyard and the slip comes up out of the pocket.

Anybody have any experience with an in pocket clipped slip? My brother refuses to dedicate a pocket. I gave him a BB Raptor V2, he keeps opening it in his pocket somehow. Two bites, one significant, and he keeps on keeping on. lol

Hope one of these will both protect the handles from keys, money clip, etc and keep it shut in his pocket.

Can't for the life of me figure out how. Tip up, right front, pushed all the way back to the seem. Detent is solid, blade tip is not proud, tucked in nice and protected, so it's not grabbing cloth. All I can figure is that with the narrow handles and plenty of exposed blade, he's catching the handle with a finger somehow.

I had an older WH that worked as intended, but rode a little high. I also had to file the points on the clip as it scratched everything. Collector knives sells or sold one with a better clip. There are also the fold over magnetic clasp versions which might be better over all.
