I've had a couple of those deals like that not go through, last one was on one of those big brother knives. They have someone call you in a few days and try and sell you something else since they are 'out of stock'. I had one of them actually go through once though so who knows.
 
Hmmm combat kukri shows for sale on kabar's website....but out of stock...i really want that. Wonder when tomars will have it.
 
Well fellas, i just got an email..actually 2. My orders were cancelled, but it actually says that they dont know why it was cancelled! Sorry guys, hope yours works out.

You need to do nothing, we will cancel your order for you and a full refund, including shipping, will be issued promptly. Ignore any email confirming shipping as we were unaware of this situation prior to printing postage.

Oh well, we all knew it would happen anyways. Maybe some of the first few will get em.
 
Be interesting to see how "promptly" I'll be refunded.
 
Bait and switch or to generate revenue for the website based on traffic. More hits equals more advertising.
