To splurge on a Spyderco Hungarian?

So I bought the Extrema Ratio Resolza, the stonewashed one. I think I got my money's worth. The knife is simple but stunning. I really like the Pattada/Resolza pattern, I like Italian knives in general. The fit and finish is exceptional. Ergonomics are good, as the handle is of traditional pattada style. Handle has the rectangular cut-outs characteristic of ER knives. They do give a bit more grip, but I could live without them.

I really would like to see how the Spyderco version of Pattada looks like. It would be difficult to make a better modernized version of pattada knife than this ER. The knife does not have a clip, which in my opinion would not fit this style, but Spyderco has a clip.

I noticed that I can open the blade by gravity, a good flick of the wrist will snap it open similarly to Cold Steel Ti-lite. Very smooth. I think I will make a sheath for this knife to carry either in the pocket or inside waisband. The knife feels quite light considering the size, the blade is almost 5 inches so this feels like a Italian dueling knife.

Edit: I used the remaining money on a Hinderer tactical pen. It feels like it could break a brick. So I consider my trip to my favourite knife shop a success :)
