To strip or not to strip? How do you prefer your beckers?

I stripped my 14, 15 and 16. My 2 and 9 still have their coating and I think I'll leave it to wear naturally.

I usually don't strip off coatings, but my 4 finish was too rough. It looked like Rhino lining and seemed like after the initial cut with the edge, it was sanding its way through material. It looked good and seemed tough, but man was it rough. My GS Gurkha and LTC are coated and work great. I think the 4, at least, is really improved sans coating.

Just stripped my 9. It's rough but I like it. Now to pick some wood scales for it.
