I don't have SR-101 yet--MOFO on order. But I've stripped every Busse I've owned... The MOFO will get stripped too--which brings me to a question: for those of you that use a wire wheel on your Dremel--which one do you use? Also, any of you recommend not using the wire wheel--does it make the blade too hot? The CBT presents many challenges for the stripping, it seems.

RCB2000, I don't think stripping changes chopping performance, but a smooth blade (as opposed to coated) will have less drag for slicing cuts, if you plan on using that big bad blade in such a manner. I personally like naked steel, and I do not mind patina on my carbon steel blades.
 
It's a dead heat! I think I'll keep beating the coating off, the natural way for now.
