I did. Still not big on the tanto blades but I could not pass it up for LNIB and 105 bucks shipped. I will try both spear point and tanto blades. May sell the one I like the least.................or just keep both.
 
I understand the tanto-thing. I just like them.
Do not sell Emersons. You will just replace them.

Hell of a knife, one of my all time favorites. it did develop vertical blade play after a few days though :confused: along with my cqc 10. Its going back to emerson once I get my cqc10 and super 7 back. Besides that vertical blade play Im in love!
 
You'll be fixed up.
Thanks to a Emerson knut on BF, I have a Tan G10, Blk Blade 7. It's nice.

I started with the 7b but I just couldn't get into the tanto. I tried, though! It's still a great knife but the 7a just looked and felt "right" for me.

bmoore, I'm interested in how your mileage may possibly vary on these two -- keep us posted!
