I've left a notice at the laundromat, and they recommended I turn it in to the police. However, if you live around Cincinnati, you know that will just end up as a nice donation for an officer (which is technically theft if that happens). I'll hang on to it for him and hope he shows up. Bump.
 
Definitely hold on to it. Why not start a thread with a title like "If your name is Jason and you recently lost a knife, read this..."?
 
Losing a knife is a gut wrenching, horrible feeling. Way to go JNieporte for doing all you can to relieve that awfulness.
