To use or not to use?

Not quite that bad here, but around 50K. 55,200 I believe is latest count, with credit cards and what I owe on truck. I pay the bills and everything alright, but sure would be nice to be able to spend the 800 or so a month.

Like most of you I have more than enough khukuris to last a lifetime. Come to think of it, I don't know how I can use up even one khukuri in this lifetime.

I guess I'm just being irrational. I know that khukuris are made to be used. But when I look at the very first BGRS and one of the only known blades made by Baburam/Sunder, I just want to keep them in as pristine condition as possible.

I do use some of my khukuris though. I have a 12" sirupati, 15" AK, 18" GS, and 21" Chitlangi that are used as the workhorses of my collection. And there's not much that I can't do with those knives.

If you went and etched one with some lemon juice or scratched it up with some scotchbrite, it'll be easier to use. It'll also most likely become your favorite.

At least it worked for me.

I figure I could save a lot of money if I lived in a cardboard box. This would free up funding to pay off debts and for shiny metal things.

Saw a bumper sticker this afternoon;

"My Wife Says
if I buy any more guns
that she'll divorce me
I'm sure going to miss her"
