To you makers out there, have you ever made a knife, which when finished, you liked so much, you decided to keep it, you just couldn't let it go? If so, was it because the design just came together so well, or was it that the knife was completed with unsually fine fit and finish? Why did you decide to keep it? Just curious.

I have had a few I couldn't let go, mostly because they sucked. I am still learning, and I have screwed up a few knives. If the flaws are major, I keep them and use them and destroy them just to see how tough they are. I never let anyone see them.
