Toad -- AUS-8A or ATS-34

I've been thinking about buying a Toad. All the dealer webpages I've visited show the blade steel as AUS-8A, as do the threads I checked here at BF. The Spyderco website now shows the blade steel as ATS-34. It doesn't really matter, since I like AUS-8A, and upgrade to ATS-34 would be cool too, but I like to know what I'm ordering. So, which is it?

I agree with the confusion about the blade steel.
I think it's ATS-34 by the way it behaves when sharpened.
This question would be best answered by Spyderco.

The Toad is made with AUS-8. Sorry for the confusion. will correct site. Thanx for the input.
