To keep it simple, I was contacted by user toal299 regarding a knife I had for sale. I don't know what his deal is, but he seems to think I am treating him poorly. He claims that I have done this in the past, but as far as I know I have no prior contact with this user. Does anyone know this guy?

It seems like he has an itchy trigger finger on that ignore button. I wouldn’t worry about it, since it’s quite normal for people to sleep, and turn off the computer for 8 or more hours at a time.
 
Guessing he missed the part of your being in Singapore or has never dealt with anyone on the other side of the world. Communication can take some time when both parties are in completely different time zones along with their daily schedules.
Wouldn't worry about it at all.

That’s a good ending, but through his mistake, this person has revealed some of his negotiating skills, which largely consists of threatening the other with the “Dreaded Ignore List Button”, if they can’t meet his demands on time.

As well he should. Doesn't really matter to the rest of us though. He has shown his true colors. Not worth the potential headache dealing with someone who acts this way, whether you were who he thought you were or not. It's a red flag.

The op did not reach out to me to let me know he was starting this thread (Not sure it really warranted one anyway). The mistake was on my end and this has been resolved. Thanks to all who have commented so kindly.

It wasn't really the first thing on my mind to let you know, since the first thing I woke up to was a rather hostile (and as I saw it, unprovoked) message. I apologize for not notifying you. The entire issue isn't a big deal, I just started the thread to find out if anyone knew what was going on (perhaps the person who the disdain was meant to be directed to would comment, I thought); it's not my intention to attack your character.

Anyways the situation was resolved, and you've decided you won't deal with me because I'm not in the US. That's fine with both of us. I'll close the thread, given that there is nothing further to discuss. Good day, sir.
