I purchased a knife on the BF Knife Exchange and immediately recieved an email from this address claiming to be the seller and requesting the money be sent by F&F. Beware of this scam. People are watching the sales on the exchange.

All For Sale threads must have a pic showing the knife being sold with written date listed, your username & Bladeforums or BFC to prevent photo harvesting from elsewhere - scammers hate this one trick! The rules for The Exchange can be found here. Please read and follow them. Stop using Paypal Friends & Family and follow our best practices to prevent getting ripped off or having a bad deal.

If you are a paying member, you should always communicate via PM with the seller as an alternative to any email communications. We can't stress this enough.
If you do not have PMs, then you should confirm with the seller in the sales thread whether any communication received by email came from them...before sending any funds.
