Today I was walking my dog on fire .

The knife is Outback from Down under knives, this is one of my two users the other one is SP-10. No the dog doesn't wear Body armor :) it is just harness .
On second thought maybe he cut him self last week on ice...

Only one thing you can really do in a controlled burn. Bring out the steaks.
 
No matter how much a control fire can benefit the environment, you still have to be careful. I'm surprised no one was in the woods watching it. :confused:

And avoid starting control burns on windy days. Or else:

It might have been a controlled burn, they do that periodically, even in urban forest preserves.

Yep, usually the USFS and/or wildland firefighters (combination of both). When they do this they don't typically allow people to casually stroll through while walking their dog. Either way, cool.
