Today's hike May 5 '08

So the other day being the bust it was, Sam and I decided to go out again. Beautiful weather, 65 degrees, sun starting to go down, we packed up and headed out. Bummer for Joe, he had homework and wanted to hang out with a friend.

Here's where we were heading

Just for practice

We practice no impact

How we cooked

What we ate, along with some cheese and ciabatta bread. I like to use a sharpened stick as a food spear.

Would have loved to stay the night but boys have school and I need to be to work early. Haven't seen the new Kabar; gonna check it out now. :thumbup:

Excellent pics.
That doesn't appear to be the pot that comes with the Jetboil but it sure looks nice. Do the parts to the stove fit inside it?

Some of them will, but I usually put smaller pieces of gear inside it. I carry the Jetboil in a stuff sack. The pot is by MSR and says Seagull in the lid.

I love them! Gonna get a bunch more. Great for use as cutting boards and containers. I am into products that extend beyond single use.
