Took the crew out for a walk today. Check out the size of the catfish someone got. Huge. Took along the blind horse... Enjoy!

The pic of the fish does it no justice. The head was bigger around than a 2 liter bottle. It was 30in long.....

Great pics. I wonder what got at that cat?!

Now if there was any firewood around it would have been nice..... :)

Is that knife a blindhorse? I really like the finish on the blade. Stag looks real good too.
Your son looks like a real little character. Hope he was careful with his footing in those flip flops on that wood.

Really nice pics. But that's not a catfish, it's a Land Shark
Judging from the tongue on your dog I'm guessing it was pretty hot there today as well.

Blind horse patch knife I got in trade from mtnfolk mike. Its a great little blade. My son is a crazy boy! Thats as far as he got into the driftwood. imagine the bonfire you could have!! Yeah that fish is huge!!! I dont know what got it, but it made a meal im sure!!

Weather was hot and humid, which made swimming great, You ever see a pug swim? I shouldve got that spectacle on tape, I was rollin!

What lake or river are you on? I live in the hills in south central MO. I think that may have been a criiter caught carfish. Pat

great pics J.... looks like you all had a great time... we spent the past 2 nights at a local state park...:D

nice knife too..

Looks like a good time Bro! Your close-up of the pug is funny. You boy looks like he has a ton of personality.

I enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for sharing.

That Blind Horse is a really nice looking little knife.

Doc

I met those Blind Horse guys at Blade, and they were great. Plus, soon they're going to offer the knives with different grinds besides hollow. Woo hoo! I want a workhorse in convex pretty badly!

Excellent pics ....I like the catfish pic and the drift wood makes a great fire as long as it is dry...

omniviking- its lake of the ozarks.

Thaks for the comments guys! I like this blind horse knife, its the perfect size to carrry in my pocket, and I dont even know its there. I dig the shape too, it fits my hand real well.

A few years back that greenery and wood wasnt there, we had some pretty bad flooding, and it brought it all in. The wood is all bone dry, and burns great. Plus, I have some really gnarly pieces in my house, and in he flower beds...

I've caught catifsh 32 in long, but the head wasn't that big- that thing is a monster!
Thinking of getting a traditional fixed blade similar to that. Anybody familiar with the "trade knives" sold by Ragnar?
