It was in the 70's today so my brother & me hit the hills for a hike ! The weather was perfect w/ a breeze blowing. We were both packing Breeden Blades. His is a CUB & mine is a combo set - Peacemaker/Handy knife
the packs were Gerber Evader packs. The packs done well, comfortable  My brother brought along his Bird Dog Banjo for some exercise. Heres the pics -

Loving Bryan Breedens Work

Beautiful part of the country ya got there.

Looks like great day out.

Great stuff.

Looking at the countryside, it looks a lot like the hills I hike (except for the lack of snow and ice).

Looks a perfect hike bro as ya had all the bases covered...great dog, great knives and great company, what more could anyone ask for !!!

great pics man... definately a gorgeous area...

i would love to see another shot of that Breeden combo....:)

I'll get a couple more pics of the combo w/ piggy back sheath.
The Grunt is actually a solid knife for the money, the handle feels really good

Reminds me of Southern Ohio. Maybe because it is close =/

Anywho, looks like ya had fun.

definatly interesting weather here in KY. i just drove in from Oklahoma and got here today. its cooler than it is in OK, but the humidity makes it feel much worse. luckily, it will be back in the 40's tomorrow (at least here in campbell county).

the breeden combo looks great. how does his piggy-backing method work? in one of the pictures it look like the handle of the peace maker is under your belt?

great area, similar to up in the northern part of the state.

The comb works good, depends on which side you wear it on.

Good lookin' pics there Coaldigger. Do you ever see any elk? They are all over the place in my neck of the woods and I'm not that far from Pike Co. BTW those are some pretty slick blades, too. A Breeden Pathfinder is next on my list.

No sign of elk here at my house but about 30 min from here they are plenty & at my parents place (Robinson Creek) there are a few.
As for the breeden pathfinder, it's my favorite !

Is that jeans I see..... COTTON KILLS.
kidding, looks like a great time... I today was trapped in with all this freezing rain and horrible conditioned roads.

Hi coaldigger, you sure have a awesome place to raom around on.
I wish I had more hills here where I am at. LOL Glad see and hear that you and your brother and your dad like your knives. You deffently live in a great place to use them:D The nice thing about the combe knife and sheath is if you loose a knife:eek: then you still have another fixed blade with you:D
That happended to me last summer I was in the shop working on knives and had just cut box open set my knife down on the bench and was digging through the box like a kid on Christmas ( more knife making supplies LOL )
When my sister came running into the shop and says we have cattle out.
Well out the shop I went and on to our ATVs to go round them up. about have way into the cattle round up I was thinking did I grab my knife and put it back into the sheath I reached down and nope. I knew right then and there that when I got back to the shop I was goin to make up another sheath with a pouch in back for another knife. So I would have two fixed blades with me always.

Any ways take care Thomas and have fun with your knives.

Bryan
ps the pathfinder has a special place in my heart to LOL

I like that Peacemaker a lot, great blade shape. Nice pics of the area you live in too--fun little place to play. Everything outside is brown or icy here! We had snow for Xmas then 40+ degrees and rain and the snow is gone. I hate MUD.
