I live on a horse ranch in the country. Nope, don't ride, just rent the lower level of the farmhouse. It sits on about 90 acres and I roam around the property, watching the people mess around with the horses, practicing my camp skills, taking pics, and generally enjoying nature. Today was gorgeous! 79 and sunny, a bit breezy, a few wispy clouds in the sky. Have a great day!

My beloved Becker...mneedham, eat your heart out! :D

Great pics and great knives !!!

Why don't you like the pack ?

It rides low and sticks out a lot...not like yours at all. I was going to buy one like you have and talked myself into this one. I might put this up for sale or trade...I will give it another try first.

I have my fire kit, water bottle, tarp, survival kit, toilet paper, bandana, food, cook kit, an extra knife. You? Oh and btw, I just bought another Becker to match my first one by ilbruche!

Rocky,

Yeah, Ilbruche told me that you picked up another... Wheres the pics??

I carry a lot in my DD, fire kit FAK, Bivy and blanket, saw, food, candle, and a bunch of Misc. stuff...

I will post pics when I receive it....tomorrow or Friday I should have it in hand. I will take pics of my gear too...

Rocky,

Cool! Are you carrying your DD as a lumbar or shoulder bag? I carry mine on the shoulder with an after-market strap, works real well...

Lumbar. Cinched it tightly and it was...just ok...not as comfy as wearing a smaller waist pack. I will try the shouder strap next outing.

I found the factory strap a little narrow, I picked up a wider, padded version from EMS, and now life is good..

nice pics.. you're very lucky to have that for your backyard... i love horses...:D my in laws have a few...
