KCT's! Tie-Dye Finish! I should have these and the "metallic stonewashed" ones up tomorrow.

Sara's Pic! Nice day today

Stonewashed KCT's - metallic finish! at one angle they look like steel, at another maybe copper or brass and they are Titanium all the way! I need better pics to really show them off.

Folder! Rounded where it counts...

.315" A2 Steel Tantos!

Loving the metallic finish Daniel! Cool rainbow effect on the Folder Blade too Bro! I'll take mine in rainbow python colors please : ) Seriously though that metallic finish is the bees knees. What's up with that blade you have or had in the folder proto on photo bucket? Was that a spear point grind? These are going to be fantastic folders. Thanks again for sharing the pics. I need a pick me up after Thrones lame season finale last night.

Mmmm tasty stuff!
Thanks!

Much appreciated!

Wicked cool. I always wished the temper colors were more permanent.

-X
Me too! As a note those colors are what they looked like after taking them out of the heat treat wrap, they didn't change color at all during temper. I think temper colors are from oil on the blade as these were squeaky clean when they went in and gained no color.

Awesome stuff! Love the bronze anodized look.
Thanks! They seem to change finish depending on the angle... :D

Impressive
Thanks!

Double rainbow python! Thanks!

Cool you saw those pics, photobucket went down when I was uploading them and I gave up, lol... will have pics when this second one is going!

Yes that is the spearpoint version with a fighter grind, I'll be doing them too. I'm planning on a 50/50 mix of the two blade styles.

Hey what hardness will these baldes be at? 59-60?

Yes, 59-60 for all of these.

I may eventually send some of the folder blades off for heat treat as a cryo cycle should bump the hardness to 60-61 with no loss in toughness... I have always done my own heat treat and am also looking into getting my own dewar for liquid Nitrogen so I can cryo in house. I'll at least do a sub zero treatment with dry ice as that completes the "quench" on D2 steel for maximum conversion. (really tough blades that stay sharp as hell)

Nice! Like them tantos!

Thanks! They are .315" A2 and if I recall correctly roughly 9.5" long and 3/4" tall...
