Todays Roadtrip

Took a "one tank road trip" today, first one in a long time. We went south for 80 miles on Rte 45, then west for 40 miles on 116, then back home on historic Rte 66.

These two are the main street in Gilman.

These are of an old gas station in Odell

Coffee shop across the street. (This place is only about 6' wide!)

And last, a 2 cell jail in Gardner.

Sounds like a nice day out and that is a neat looking old place, although I can well recall when almost all cities looked about like that.

When I left your place last week, I ran out of hours in beautiful downtown Gilman. The Monical's pizza is really good there.

Very cool! That coffee shop is two shipping containers on top of each other! Neato. I know some folks have been making rather inexpensive homes out of them.
